P.J. - She's the Cat's Pajamas!
P.J. arrived home yesterday and it looks like she's here to stay.
She immediately had a fight with and injured Poppett,
so the poor darling is relegated to the outside.
She is yet another victim of abuse from Mueller.
She and several other cats
who have made the factory their home for years
were scheduled for 'elimination' by animal welfare!
A friend rescued her,
but was told he would be fired if he fed her.
So now,
P.J. is at home with us.
We call her The Cat's Pajamas
because she look like a short haired cat
wearing a raccoon coat. :o)

A Perfect Morning
Ray is off work today - all day!
I smell cappuccino foaming in the kitchen.
The day is grey with raindrops tinkling on the roof.
There is a crane at the pond -
he's early this year.
The house is fragrant with wood smoke.
The only light coming from the fireplace
in the drawing room.
My precious Poppett is sleeping in my lap.
Life doesn't get much better than this!

Encouraging Autumn
I decided to create a touch of fall in the house today.
Poppett jumped right into the spirit of the season
and seems to be here to stay!

Christmas Tour
Welcome to our Christmas home tour! We hope you'll join us in a cup of mulled wine and linger a while before our fire. This afternoon we'll be baking bread for our holiday parties and you're invited to grab a rolling pin and join in the fun!

Please join us!
