Pumpkin Hats and Tea Cozies

With many thanks to Karen Park of http://www.artandtea.wordpress.com I have ordered this adorable pattern from Fiber Trends at
http://www.fibertrends.com/product/149451/CH14/_/CH14_Patrick%27s_Pumpkin_Knit_Hat

Karen made this hat for her granddaughter. I'm going to make one for my great niece, Anarae. (I know this name sounds like she is from outer space, but it is pronounced Anna Ray. She is named for me and my husband.)

I also have dreams of pumpkin tea cozies, both great and small. :o)

Happy Fall, Y'all!

It's Almost Hallowe'en

It's almost Hallowe'en!
One of my very favorite holidays!

My strength limits my decorating this year,
but the first item to make its appearance
is this marvelous tea cozy!

Decorated with witches and cats and cauldrons,
this beauty was purchased from my dear friend
Sierra
of
http://www.bumblebeelane.com

I own two of her delightful tea cozies
that are shipped with beautiful covers
or in
delightful handmade boxes.

Sierra owns a Happy embroidery machine
and
her work is exquisite!!!!!

and her life at

Handmade Ribbon Flowers and Tea Cozies

I have long been fascinated by the ribbon flowers made by the Victorians.
The elegance of these flowers make them perfect for teatime
and what better use for them than on a tea cozy.

Should you be intested in the tea cozies that I have for sale, you can find them at:

New Tea Cozies

UNDER THE APPLE TREE TEA COZY
MOSSY ROSES TEA SOZY
LEMON CHIFFON TEA COZY
BRIGHT GARDEN TEA COZY

I've been working on tea cozies this week. The weather has been rainy and dreary and just cool enough for a small fire and lots of cups of tea. When I get the urge to cozy down, I usually end up making tea cozies. It just feels right.

Pictures above are those that have been added to my site at:

http://www.tea4two.etsy.com

They will be up on my Deer Haven site soon.
